Proteomics Platform

Welcome!

The Proteomics Platform at the University of Chicago is a newly established research facility located in the Knapp Center for Biomedical Discovery (KCBD). The mission of the facility is to work in collaboration with groups from UChicago and external organizations or companies to develop and utilize top-notch proteomics techniques to answer both basic and translational scientific questions.

The platform has state-of-the-art mass spectrometry instruments including Thermo Scientific Orbitrap Eclipse Tribrid Mass Spectrometer and Thermo Scientific Orbitrap Exploris 480 Quadrupole Mass Spectrometer coupled with UltiMate 3000 RSLCnano liquid chromatography system and FAIMS Pro Interface. We are experienced in performing various proteomics analysis such as global, targeted and quantitative proteomics, deep proteome analysis, post-translational modification analysis, thermal profiling analysis, immunopeptidomics, and clinical proteomics. We support scientific consultation tailored to each project, proteomics sample preparation, and education to help researchers design, perform, and interpret complex proteomics data.
